Welcome on the new website of VSMB Friends of the Musea

VSMB: Friends of The Bruges’City Musea asbl (a non-profit association)

Since 1958 this Bruges’Musea Association helps sponsoring important purchases but also seeks in all possible ways to promote cultural life in the city of Bruges and especially the interest in the Musea. 
We therefore make up a link between the 16 Museums and their visitors. http://www.museabrugge.be

Thanks to their membership the members – also not-Bruges born -  are granted a free entrance to all the Bruges’ City Musea and also to the vast collections of the Ghent and Antwerp Fine Arts Musea. 

A great number of conferences are organized especially for them.
These conferences are held at the Groeninge Museum Friends Room, a multimedia hightech facility, fully equipped by the VSMB.

The members are subscribed to the quarterly ‘Musea News Bulletin & to the ‘INFO@VSMB’ information bulletin and they are granted an important discount on the different musea publishings.

A special programme has been set up for the young members /students.

You can also become a Musea Volunteer and thereby actively contribute to the dynamic public-focused image– among others, through cooperating with the VIB(‘Volunteer Info Bar’).
